How to Present (or Teach) Online – 28 March

After having gotten married parachuting into her own wedding, it was only natural that Reverend Lise Leroux become something of an “extreme” wedding officiant. She specializes in unique yet spiritual weddings such as one in the format of an interactive video game, or with a Latin dance class in the middle of a ceremony for a couple who met while dancing. And many helicopter, boat and e-bike weddings!

Lise has been working for the past 35 years as a global training consultant teaching health and wellness, communication, conflict management, change management and innovation for clients such as NASA, the Cabinet Office (UK), Vestas Wind Systems (Sweden), Microsoft, and Service Canada. She is a published writer and immersive theatre playwright and loves being able to help others feel comfortable presenting or teaching online.

What she will cover in this session are the basics on:

·        Tips and tricks on how to use materials, visuals, and movement to keep things interesting

·        How to deal with nerves

·        How to present to an empty screen, 1 person or up to 5000

·        What to do when your internet or technology fails

·        How to get people to talk and interact rather than stay silent
