Topic Tuesdays: Best Practices for Hospice Work

Speaker Jackie Baker on Best Practices for Hospice Work – The Palliative Journey

With a generosity of heart, Jackie is currently a palliative care volunteer in Alberta’s Bow Valley.
She has decades of palliative care experience including managing a hospice in Powell River. Her degree in sociology fostered her curiosity in all things related to the human/social journeys and especially end-of-life issues. Jackie draws inspiration and balance from nature and offers her Metaphysical Ceremonies outdoors as much as possible.
A life-altering diagnosis, like a palliative journey, holds gifts you may not anticipate. Jackie will share some practises used in her work of spiritual care and ceremonies at end of life.
